Avon Valley Shed is now a Charity

23 September 2020

We are delighted to announce that Avon Valley Shed has been registered as a charity.

This emphasises our aims, which are:

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by seeking to prevent people within Fordingbridge and the surrounding area from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society through the provision of facilities in which they can meet jointly or individually to undertake creative, physical or recreational activities, learn or pass on skills and knowledge and support each other socially.

Being a charity will also be huge help in terms of publicity, fund-raising, and generally being recognised as a worthwhile cause.

The trustees of the charity are Gary Knight, Ian Lemon, Julie Kalsi, Malcolm Connolly, and Chris Dennis.
