Further discussions needed over plans for Men's Shed 29 October 2020

Another article in the Salisbury Journal, recounting the Fordingbridge Town Council meeting on when the Finance Committee discussed our application for Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding. The Journal keeps referring to the project as a “Men’s Shed”, despite the fact that the Avon Valley Shed will be for everyone.

Fordingbridge Town Council’s Finance and Policy Committee discussed out use of the building on the recreation ground on 28 August 2020. The minutes of the meeting are available on the Council’s website. They raised questions about the terms of the lease, and the possible need for separately metered water and electricity supplies. Plans "moving forward" at last 9 July 2020

Our plans to use the building in Fordingbridge Recreation Ground are moving forward at last. The Salisbury Journal reports that the Town Council are backing the project, and are keen to put a lease in place so that Avon Valley Shed will finally have a place to use.
